Recently, the 8th Microstructure Photography Competition of Shaanxi Province was held at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. The work "Many Stars to Hold the Moon" by Huang Quan, a student from the College of Plant Protection, NWAFU, won the 3th prize under the instruction of Guo Fuzhen.
The competition aims to show the beauty of the microscopic world through microstructure photography works, stimulate students and scientific researchers to explore the interest of scientific research, enhance academic exchanges, and improve instrumental operation and artistic appreciation ability.
The competition was organized by Electron Microscope Society of Shaanxi Province and Test and Detection Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance of Shaanxi Province, and was hosted by Analysis and Testing Center at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. It was jointly organized by Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Northwest A&F University, Xidian University, Shaanxi Normal University, Northwestern University, Xi'an University of Technology, Chang'an University, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Institute of Technology, Xi'an Medical University, Air Force Medical University, Yan'an University, and Yulin University. More than 300 undergraduate students and graduate students from 14 universities in Shaanxi Province attended.
