From August 3 to 7, 2024, led by Professor Hu Xiaoping, Associate Professor Qin Jun, Li Yuxiang,  Wang Qiang, and Ph.D student Wang Yajuan went to Changchun, Jilin to attend the Asian Phytopathology Congress and the 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Phytopathology Society. Wang Yajuan gave a talk titled "The secreted feruloyl esterase of Verticillium dahliae modulates host immunity via degradation of GhDFR" at the graduate student venue. Professor Hu Xiaoping presided over the closing ceremony of the 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Phytopathological Society. All participants in the research group had full communication and exchanges with other participating experts.
